We’re recruiting: Development & Partnerships Manager

BOOM! are looking for someone with experience of growing earned income streams and developing networks for this new role. Someone who can help our very small charity grow in size, reach and impact

Key details:

  • Contract: Freelance, initially to the end of March 2026, with the opportunity to extend dependent on funding.

  • Hours: 1 day/7 hours per week, worked flexibly to suit the postholder and organisation, ideally attending a virtual team meeting every second Friday.

  • Fee: £170/40 per day

  • Location: Glasgow City

  • Application Deadline: Friday 30th May at 15pm

  • Interviews: Interviews will be held virtually in the evening of Tuesday 3rd June. Some questions will be shared in advance with the shortlisted candidates.

About the role

We are a community arts charity working primarily in the North of Glasgow. Our team consists of a Fundraising Manager, and Marketing & Project Coordinator (each working 1 day p/w), a pool of sessional art workshop leaders, and a volunteer Board. The Development & Partnerships Manager will form part of the core admin team.

We are looking to increase earned income & financial sustainability to enable growth. The post holder will be a key driver of this work. It is likely that a range of options will be explored (including a social enterprise model), with income generated funding future work core to our mission and organisational growth.
